This month’s issue of the LSV Inner Circle brings you one of my favorite styles of workouts and that’s the Puzzle.
It allows you to pick and choose different areas of your body to put extra emphasis on.
Want to work your arms and abs? Awesome. Pick one of each, put ‘em together and you have a 15-minute workout!
There are 4 different categories – Legs, Arms, Abs and Metabolic/Fat Burning – and there are 2 7-minute Puzzle Piece Workouts within each category (8 Puzzle Pieces total). To form a workout you simply pick 2-3 Puzzle Pieces and do it! Shoot for doing these workouts 2-3 times per week.
All the workout layouts, as well as Workout Logs are in the magazine which you will download below.
As usual there are videos for the workouts and those videos can be downloaded to your computer.

February 2012
This month’s issue of the LSV Inner Circle brings you a sweet little workout program called “Medicine Ball and Bodyweight Blast.”
As the title indicates, all of the workouts are designed using only your own bodyweight and the only external resistance is in the form of a medicine ball. They are a bit more “up tempo,” yet provide a pretty fine and dandy amount of resistance. You’re gonna love it! My legs, chest and shoulders were reminding me just how much I loved the program for a few days following filming
The magazine is all about “Sticking.” We’re already through the first month of 2012 and that means many people have already given up on their Resolutions and goals. If that’s you, or if you are struggling, give this month’s issue a read and discover a few ways to flip the switch that will help you stick with your goals and Resolutions for the long-term.
All the workout layouts, as well as Workout Logs are in the magazine which you will download below.
As usual there are videos for the workouts and those videos can be downloaded to your computer.

January 2012
This month’s issue of the LSV Inner Circle brings you a sweet little workout program called “Fusion Conditioning.”
I wrote a blog post about it a couple weeks ago, but the gist is that I mixed exercises that are highly “metabolic” with resistance training exercises and I put them together in a sweet little way that is designed to tone, strengthen AND burn a ton of calories, which means you burn fat on your trouble spots, tone the areas you want and lose fat…all good things! Oh and the workouts are designed in 10-minute increments
I set the workouts up a bit different than usual and I hope you like the new “flow.”

November 2011
This month’s issue of the LSV Inner Circle brings you a sweet little workout program designed to work called “Happy Time Tubes.”
The Workout of The Month brings you a number of different workouts all using Resistance Tubes. I’ve received quite a few requests for a program using tubes, so… Ask and Ye Shall Receive!
Personally, I love using tubes for workouts because they’re so versatile. They provide a different “type” of resistance than using dumbbells or bodyweight because of the way the tubes “pull” you which makes your core/low back have to work that much harder to stabilize yourself, plus the muscles being worked are worked their hardest at different points of the movement…all good times!
I set the workouts up a bit different than usual and I hope you like the new “flow.”
All the workout layouts, as well as tracking sheets are in the magazine which you will download below.

October 2011
This month’s issue of the Lean, Strong and Vibrant Inner Circle brings you a sweet little workout program designed to work called “Abs Blasters.”
The Workout of The Month brings you 3 different “Pre” workout Abs Circuits, 3 different 10-minute workouts and 3 different “Post” workout Abs Circuits.
You pick one of the Pre Abs Circuits, then do a 10-minute workout and finish up with a Post Abs Circuit. Total workout time is about 20-22 minutes, depending upon how much rest you take…and they work your abs/core fantastically! My abs are still sore from filming them
All the workout layouts, as well as tracking sheets are in the magazine which you download below.
As usual there are videos for the workouts and those videos can be downloaded to your computer.
There’s no “magazine” this month because I have been working hard and heavy finishing up my new book and will give you a heads up when that’s available – and you’ll get it for next to nothing

September 2011
This month’s issue of the Lean, Strong and Vibrant Inner Circle brings you a sweet little workout program designed to work called “Book End.”
The Workout of The Month is brings you 3 different Book Ends, and 3 different 10-Minute Workouts. Essentially what you do is do a 5-7 minute Book End, then the 10-Minute Circuit, and finish up with the Book End again. I could’ve also called it “The Sandwich,” but thought Book End sounded better
All the workout layouts, as well as tracking sheets are in the magazine which you download below.
As usual there are videos for the workouts and those videos can be downloaded to your computer.
The magazine itself has 2 hefty articles – one about Supplements and the other with some sweet workout tips and tricks straight from the lab (my studio). The supplement article covers the history, myths, lies as well as what I recommend in terms of supplementation. It’s a murky lake of shenanigans in the supplement industry and I want you to be able to cover it without getting your hands dirty.
The Exercise section gives you 9 awesome tips and tricks to increase the intensity and effectiveness of your workouts, without sacrificing total workout time. I hope you put some of these into use and watch what happens!

August 2011 Issue:
This month’s issue of the Lean, Strong and Vibrant Inner Circle brings you a sweet little workout program designed to work your abs/core quite nicely as well as crank your metabolism and help you shed some weight.
The Workout of The Month is 5-Minute Blasters and it’s crammed with 12, 5-minute circuit workouts split between your Abs and Metabolic (Cardio) workouts. You get to mix and match the workouts depending upon what you’d like to work that day. Want to work your abs/core extra hard? Cool…pick 2-3 Abs Circuits and maybe 1 Metabolic circuit to form a workout.
Aim for doing 2-4 of these workouts per week and aim for 2-4 5-minute circuits per workout. Feel free to mix and match as you see fit.
As usual there are videos for the workouts and those videos can be downloaded to your computer.

July 2011 Issue:
This month’s issue of the Lean, Strong and Vibrant Inner Circle brings you a couple sweet little articles and, like most of the stuff I write, they were written due to direct suggestions/ideas from YOU.
The “Mental Moments” portion dives into something that can literally make or break your success – both in the short-term and for long-lasting results. It boils the issue down to its root and is about as simplistic as one can make it. That doesn’t mean the change will be easy, but the concept is simple.
The Nutrition section dives into a question I receive on a weekly basis and that is “Does fruit make you fat?” I get so many different variations of that question that I knew I had to write something about it…more than just a simple blog post. I covered the 5 biggest reasons you’re told not to eat fruit and gave you my responses. I do give you a few words of caution with fruit as well.
The Workout of The Month is called “The Puzzle Part 2″ and it’s a continuation of a workout from February. I created 8 total workouts – 2 for the Abs, 2 for the Legs, 2 for the Arms and 2 Metabolic – and you can pick and choose the workouts you do depending upon the area of your body you want to work. Each workout is 7 minutes long and you pick 2-3 different Puzzle Pieces to form one one workout. Do it 2-4 times per week and watch the results!
As usual there are videos for the workouts and those videos can be downloaded to your computer.

June 2011 Issue:
This month’s issue of the Lean, Strong and Vibrant Inner Circle brings you a couple sweet little articles and, like most of the stuff I write, they were written due to direct suggestions/ideas from YOU.
The “Mental Moments” portion dives into something I’ve been researching more and more and that is the thoughts that you have matter when it comes to not only weight loss, but maintaining a healthy and fit lifestyle. More specifically, in this month’s issue, we cover the importance of how you START your day and the effects it can have both positively and negatively. It’s a quick read, and a simple concept, but a concept that many poo-poo and I encourage you not do so. Give it a try and see what happens!
The Nutrition portion covers he so-called “stress hormone,” cortisol. As stated in the video above, cortisol has many more responsibilities than just contributing to weight gain, but given that’s what you want to learn, that’s what we covered. It would be pretty silly of me, for a myriad of reasons, to discuss cortisol’s effects on blood pressure, and dive even deeper into adrenal glands. A very good reason not to is that I’m not a doctor, nor do I pretend to be one on television.
We go into what cortisol is, how it can affect your weight, and how to keep your levels low and ways to deal with the different stressors in your life.
It’s a pretty interesting read, but I admit, I am biased
The workouts are pretty awesome as well. This month’s Theme is “Arms Attack” and I’m pretty sure you can guess from the name what the workouts entail. There are 3 different 10-minute workouts, a 10-minute Bodyweight Cardio workout, and then…
…There are 4 different Add-On workouts that are made specifically to hit your arms. So many folks want better arms, so I made these workouts for those people! Personally, I love these workouts. I’m not unlike many dudes in the arms department – I want better ones! The cool part about these Add-Ons is that they’re not simply full of isolation exercises – there are exercises that hit many different muscle groups, and when there are isolation exercises, they are paired up to do a number on your arms…
They’re stinkin’ awesome!

May 2011 Issue:
This month’s issue of the Lean, Strong and Vibrant Inner Circle brings you a couple sweet little articles and, like most of the stuff I write, they were written due to direct suggestions/ideas from YOU.
The “Mental Moments” portion dives into the definition of “indulgence” and the dangers that thought process can bring – I wrote this because I’ve been seeing a lot of the same behavior in clients/email subscribers and thought it would help. I think everybody should at least read it and give it some consideration.
The Nutrition portion covers 5 quick Detoxes/Cleanses I came up with. It seems that going on some type of Detox is all the rage these days and I wanted to come up with a few sensible and nutrition-based detoxes for you to try. I try to do some type of detox every 4-8 weeks and love it. It’s a great way to hit your internal “reset” button and put you back on pace for your ultimate goals. It’s also a great way of infusing your body with loads of nutrients.
The problem is most detoxes found today rely on goofiness. Special powders and concoctions or drastic fasting for long periods of time. I’m a big fan of intermittent fasting, but any longer than that isn’t cool with me.
Give these 5 Detoxes a read and try to do one, or more, of them this week.
The workouts are pretty awesome as well. I created 6 different 10-minute workouts that are all “high tempo” and more like the bodyweight cardio workouts you’re accustomed to getting from me….but there’s some resistance stuff thrown in as well.
Then, i made 6 different “Add-On” workouts that are designed to focus on a trouble spot – Abs, Arms or Legs. These add-ons are 2-exercise circuits and are classified as “Burners.” That means that you do the first set at normal tempo, then the second set super-slow. Go back and forth like that for 5-minutes, completing as many supersets as possible.
They’re stinkin’ awesome!

April 2011 Issue:
The April issue of the Lean, Strong and Vibrant Lifestyle Club is something I’m very excited about.
It’s 30-day diet program I created called “The Wave” and, to put it bluntly, is AWESOME!
It’s a simple to follow nutrition/diet program revolving around a concept called Carb Rotation. It doesn’t require you to count calories or wonder how many carbohydrate grams you should be getting on a daily basis.
I won’t bore you with all the details here – because I do that in the book itself – so get to clicking and download it yourself…and then read it and follow it
Be sure to give me feedback, ask questions and let me know if you’re stumped or stuck. I’m here to help, so don’t hesitate to reach out.

March 2011 Issue:
The March issue of the Lean, Strong and Vibrant Lifestyle Club is full of awesomeness! The “Mental” side of things covers what I like to call your “Stagnation Point” or “Sticking Point” and only deals with the mental side of things, rather than workout/nutrition of plateaus. It’s different, but necessary, to talk about. The “Exercise” section goes into my reasons behind creating this month’s workouts – which are called “The Challenge” – because they need to be talked about in depth. The biggest portion of the magazine is the “Nutrition” section where we dive into the world of Essential Fatty Acids. It’s a huge article and is full of useful information. I highly suggest reading this article in its entirety.
The “Challenge” is this month’s theme for the workouts and they are awesome. It’s all about competing against yourself – challenging yourself each and every workout to make sure you take it to its fullest. They are awesome workouts and you will see results this month, if you work the workouts. There are 3 Challenge workouts as well as a Bodyweight Cardio workout. Shoot for doing the Challenge workouts 3 times per week (one per day) and mix the Bodyweight Cardio in wherever you have the time.

February 2011 Issue:
The February issue of the Lean, Strong and Vibrant Lifestyle Club features a bunch of goodies…as usual! First up we have the dangers of the “Yo-Yo” where I dive into the dangerous side effects of yo-yo dieting – both physically and mentally. It really can do a lot of harm to you physically, but mentally it wreaks havoc. Next up we talk all things “Meal Timing.” There’s not a week that goes by where I don’t get confused questions about meal timing, so I decided to set things straight once and for all. Last up I dive into the 6 most common workout/exercise mistakes I see and hear and why they’re messed up and what to do about them. Oh yeah! I also included a few tasty, yet healthy, dessert recipes. Yum Yum!
The workouts for this month are awesome! I call it “The Puzzle” because I created 6 different 7-minute circuit workouts that each focus on a different aspect. Legs, Abs, Arms, and Fat Burning Metabolic Circuits. To create a workout you combine 2 of the 7-minute circuits. So if you really want to hit your legs this month, pick that one at least twice per week. On the other hand if you want to focus more on the Abs and burning fat, combine the appropriate circuits. It…is…awesome!

January 2011 Issue:
The January 2011 issue of Lean, Strong and Vibrant Lifestyle Club combines 3 different articles – one for the Mind, one on Nutrition and the other on Exercise. The section on the mind covers something that has been troubling me lately in terms of the way many perceive the amount of work necessary to lose weight and get in better shape. The Nutrition section goes in detail into the importance of keeping a food journal. I know this may be old news, but it’s still important to read and implement…plus I cover a few new twists on keeping a food journal that you won’t want to miss. Last up we have the Exercise section where I cover an interesting study and the benefits of…(you’ll have to read it to find out what I’m talking about
).
The workouts for this month are quite awesome. The entire month puts all the focus on your legs. If you want stronger and more toned legs, then this month’s set of workouts is for you! They are also full body workouts, an interesting mix of words I know…yet still true

December 2010 Issue:
The December 2010 issue of Lean, Strong and Vibrant Lifestyle Club features a big, honkin’ and giant article about Probiotics. Probiotics are the healthy bacteria living – at least should be living – in your intestines. These bacteria are necessary for a number of purposes, least of which is helping to break absorb nutrients. If you can’t digest your food properly, you won’t get the most out of the food. What’s the good in eating lots of fruits and veggies if you can’t actually use all the nutrients you’re ingesting? No good at all!

Lifestyle Challenge #3:
This challenge is a bit odd, yet pretty powerful. It involves you talking to your food. Yes, I said I want you to talk to your food. You may sound crazy, yet not as crazy as if the food were to respond to you. Click here to figure out what the heck I’m talking about…

Lifestyle Challenge #2:
This week’s challenge is a bit difficult, yet, again, very powerful. It involves how many ingredients I want your food to have a few days this week. It’ll teach you to pay attention to the food you’re buying and eating and think twice about what you want to put in your body. Click here to give it a read…

Lifestyle Challenge #1:
This challenge is ridiculously easy and is something you should do all the time…not just this week. It involves one of your daily meals and me telling you what to eat
Imagine that…me telling you what to eat. Ha! Click here to give it a read…

November 2010 Issue:
In this, the inaugural issue, of the Lean, Strong and Vibrant Lifestyle Club, I cover how “Food Affects Your Mood” and if we’re talking about that, we need to cover the flip side of that- “How Your Mood Affects Your Food.” It sounds like I’m running in circles, but both have an effect on the other and it’s something you need to pay attention to.
There are no workouts for this issue, just the magazine.
